Access Log Manager
What's the goal of the Access Log Manager? What kind of information will it provide?
An access log is a text file which contains an extensive report on all of the files accessed by your Internet site visitors. All of the files which were requested in one way or another will be included, so if you have a PHP script application and a visitor opens just the home page, for example, you might find a lot of files in the log. The reason is that there are elements on the home page which are embedded - parts of other pages, pictures, etcetera. All of these files will be listed in the access log, so you can get a detailed picture of the way your Internet site functions. The data is in plain text format, so the logs are frequently termed "raw data" as well. An access log contains the name of each and every requested file, the path to it, the date it was accessed, as well as the user’s IP address, Internet browser and OS. Additional information, such as the referrer site, is sometimes included too. A log file can be processed by various desktop applications for statistical purposes as an addition to the web statistics created by your web server.

Access Log Manager in Shared Hosting
When you buy a
shared hosting from us, you will be able to determine if access logs have to be generated and for which domains or subdomains inside your account this should be done. You can activate this option from the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia CP, which comes with all shared accounts. Any
domain name you host or subdomain you create shall be listed there and you see an On/Off option next to each of them, so you can effortlessly activate or deactivate the generation of access logs separately for each website that you have. You can save a log to your personal computer by clicking on the Download link that you will see in the same exact section of the CP. The link shall be available even if you deactivate the log generation, so you will still have access to the data collected by our system.

Access Log Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our leading-edge website hosting platform will create access logs for every single site hosted inside a
semi-dedicated server account, provided that this feature is activated. All domain names and subdomains that you have will be listed within the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia Control Panel, that we offer with all the accounts, so if you would like our system to start producing logs for any of them, you should simply click on the little button on the right side of the respective domain/subdomain and change the default Off option to On. You may deactivate this function anytime by following the same steps. You will find a Download link for every single log in the same exact section of the CP, so you can save the content gathered by our system in .txt format with just a mouse click. An existing log file could be downloaded even after the feature has been deactivated, so you'll still be able to look at the data that's already been generated.
